Baltimore is full of talent. But too many young adults are held back by barriers that have nothing to do with ability—limited access to high-quality training, few professional connections, financial pressure, and no clear roadmap from interest to a real career.
MyCareerBridge is a Baltimore-based nonprofit built to change that. We remove barriers and create real pathways into tech by combining hands-on training with consistent support—so learners don’t just complete a class, they build confidence, credibility, and momentum toward opportunity.
We don't believe short-term training alone is enough. That's why MyCareerBridge is designed as a full-year pathway that includes up to 15 weeks of paid technical training in high-demand areas such as IT Support and Cybersecurity — where participants earn a stipend as they learn — followed by continued career readiness and alumni support for the remainder of the 12-month program.
Throughout the year, participants receive coaching, mentoring, professional development, resume and interview preparation, mock interviews, and networking support. MyCareerBridge also shares and facilitates introductions to internships, apprenticeships, and potential job opportunities when available; however, employment opportunities are not guaranteed.
Our goal is simple: help Baltimore’s young adults gain skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, and step into careers where they can grow, provide for themselves and their families, and strengthen our community.
