Terence West is the Founder & CEO of MyCareerBridge, a Baltimore-based nonprofit creating real pathways from training to career opportunities in IT and cybersecurity. He brings 25 years of staffing and workforce development experience, including owning a staffing agency for 10 years and building a strong local corporate employer network that connects talent to real hiring demand. Terence has led internship and apprenticeship pathway efforts through organizations including Year Up and CityWorksDC. Missy West is driven by one conviction: young adults deserve more than inspiration—they deserve real access, real preparation, and real opportunity. As Vice President of Programs and a Board Member at MyCareerBridge, she brings senior executive leadership to program strategy, quality, and scale—ensuring the mission is delivered with consistency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

In her previous senior leadership roles at Year Up United, Missy led program operations and workforce outcomes across Baltimore, Delaware, and Philadelphia, overseeing multi-region execution and managing cross–time zone teams. She was responsible for end-to-end program performance, including learner recruitment and onboarding, curriculum implementation, internship readiness, learner success, and employer alignment—supporting hundreds of young adults navigating pathways into professional careers.

Missy provided executive leadership for the Simulated Internship Pathway, one of Year Up United’s largest and most complex pathways, designed to replicate real workplace environments and expectations. In this role, she partnered closely with national curriculum, employer engagement, and learner success teams to strengthen how young adults prepare, perform, and progress in professional settings. Her leadership ensured learners developed not only technical and professional skills, but also confidence, accountability, and workplace fluency critical to long-term career success.

Across regions, Missy drove continuous improvement in program quality, coached and developed high-performing staff, strengthened data-informed decision-making, and elevated learner outcomes—contributing to increased internship readiness, stronger employer satisfaction, and improved career momentum for young adults from historically underrepresented communities.
